Saddlebag log house recently recovered from eastern Kentucky.  Each pen is 18’x18′ and consists of half dovetailed poplar, oak, and chestnut logs.  Could be a main room and kitchen or two separate cabins on your property!

After we recover the cabins, our process is to stage them at our yard, replace any damaged logs, level and square the structure. We also clean and treat the logs, and provide drawings for reconstruction.

What is included?

• The original log walls, pre-staged at our NC facility, with any damaged logs replaced (original door and window openings and cabin height can be modified during staging)
• Other original materials as noted in each cabin description
• Structure is leveled, squared, cleaned and treated for wood destroying insects
• Logs are tagged with matching diagrams for log placement, and a foundation plan
• Logs and materials are loaded at our yard and destined for your site
• Unlimited phone consultation when you or your contractor are stacking the cabin

Optionally, Old Log Cabins can deliver and travel to your site to participate in reconstruction
